Step Into the World of Voice Acting!

Whether you're brand new to voice acting or looking to refine your skills, this contest is designed to give you a real, interactive experience in the art of voice acting. Hosted by Dorah Fine, this event is more than a competition—it's an engaging learning opportunity where you’ll explore performance, gain confidence, and most of all, have fun!

How to Participate

For Those Who Want to Compete:

Contestants must obtain two types of tickets to participate:

First Round (Choose One):
- Panel A Contestant Ticket – for those performing on Friday March 21
- Panel B Contestant Ticket – for those performing on Saturday March 22
Final Round:
- Final Round Contestant Ticket – For Sunday March 23

Important: To be eligible as a finalist, contestants must have obtained one First Round Contestant Ticket, competed in that round, and checked in with their Final Round Ticket.

For Those Who Do Not Wish to Compete:

For non-contestants who want to observe, learn, and participate in voting at the Final Round while enjoying the full educational experience. Check-in is only required for the Final Round, though attendees are welcome to observe the First Round Panels.

First Rounds :
- Join the voice acting fun- no ticket required to attend Panels A & B as an audience member
Final Round:
- Fine-Tooned Fun Pass - For Sunday March 23rd (to Vote)

Note: Participants must be checked in at the Final Round to be eligible for the 10% discount code for AiVA online classes with Dorah Fine and to participate in voting.

First Round Panels: The Audition Experience

Have you ever wondered what it's like to audition for an animated project? Now’s your chance to step into the role of a voice actor! The First Round Panels give you a simulated audition experience in front of a professional director.

Select a character script from a variety of provided options.
Perform your copy just like in a real audition.
Experience the excitement of bringing a character to life.
Learn by observing fellow contestants and cheering them on.

First Round Panel Details

Location: Panel 1 (Pikes Peak)

A: Friday, March 21 | Time: 6:45 PM - 8:15 PM
B: Saturday, March 22 | Time: 5:00 PM - 6:30 PM

Friendly Reminder: Be sure to check in and be seated on time for your assigned panel. Volunteers will be scanning your contestant tickets to confirm attendance. Late arrivals cannot be accommodated, and performances will follow the order of the seating chart.

THE FINAL ROUND: A VOICE ACTING WORKSHOP FOR EVERYONE

The Final Round isn’t just for the finalists—it’s an immersive learning experience for everyone!

Whether you’re performing or observing, this interactive workshop will offer insights into voice acting methods, ADR script analysis, and how to take direction from an experienced director.

Finalists will perform audition sides and anime scenes on stage with live coaching and feedback from Dorah Fine.
All attendees will observe the process and gain valuable techniques they can apply to their own voice acting journey.
Everyone participates by voting for the winner of the scholarship prizes!

To be eligible to perform as a finalist, you must have competed in the First Round and be checked in for the Final Round.
